The core is high-resilience foam from the supply chain behind European upholstery, the kind made for mattresses and upholstered furniture rather than the fill found in most pet beds. The cover is a heavy performance linen weave, woven in Europe and rated for commercial upholstery. Each core is cut to its outline with the rounded edge built up by hand, and each cover is sewn to fit it.
The cover and the liner can be bought again on their own, so the bed is built for years, not seasons.
