Performance Linen Weave
Material: 95% polyester, 5% linen
Weight: 520 g/m²
A European performance linen weave, with the feel of linen and the wear of a technical textile. It feels dry and slightly grainy under your palm, and it's water-repellent, so a spill sits on the surface long enough for you to blot it. Rated to 50,000 Martindale abrasion cycles, and woven tight rather than looped, so claws don't snag.

Performance Linen Weave
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. No bleach. Line dry. No iron, no dry cleaning.
Vacuum everyday dust and hair with an upholstery attachment. Dab spills with a soft cloth rather than rubbing them in. Steady direct sunlight will fade any fabric over time, this one included.

Liner1
One waterproof liner, in white, for every size.
Waterproof Cotton Terry
Material: 80% cotton, 20% polyester
Membrane: 0.02 mm polyurethane
Weight: 160 g/m²
Waterproof. A soft terry knit laminated to a thin polyurethane membrane: the terry is what your dog feels, the membrane is what stops anything that gets past the cover from reaching the foam. It breathes, so the bed doesn't build up heat.

Waterproof Cotton Terry
Machine wash cold. No dryer, no bleach, no iron, no dry cleaning.
The membrane is the part that does the work, and heat is what damages it. Wash cool and line dry.

Waterproof Cotton Terry
Base1
The underside of every cover, in the same color as the fabric on top.
Suede-Like Base Panel
Material: 100% polyester
Weight: 470 g/m²
A suede-like polyester with a soft nap, woven on a knitted back, in the same color as the fabric above it, so the bed is one color from every angle. It's water-repellent, and it grips a wood floor on its own, which is why you won't find rubber dots on the bottom to peel off.
Care Details
Suede-Like Base Panel
It washes with the rest of the cover: cold, gentle, line dry. Brush the nap back with a dry cloth once it's dry.
Liquid sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so blot, don't scrub.

Suede-Like Base Panel
Core1
High-resilience foam, cut from block foam.
High-Resilience Foam
Grade: high resilience
Thickness: 4 in, every size
Color: natural, white to light yellow
Made in: Poland
The kind of foam made for mattresses and upholstered furniture, rather than the fill found in most pet beds. Press it and it pushes back. It springs back instead of sinking, and air moves through it, so it doesn't build a warm hollow.
The core is cut from a block, and the rounded edge around it is a second piece of the same foam, bonded on. The bond line can be clear, white, pink or red.
Care Details
High-Resilience Foam
The core doesn't wash. That's what the cover and the liner are for.
Unroll it the day it arrives and lay it flat; give it 24 to 48 hours to come back to full shape. Don't leave it rolled.
